Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City have announced that 31 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 5544 people have been confirmed to be infected in Gifu prefecture.
It is the 7th consecutive day that the number of confirmed infections per day exceeds 30.
