On April 25, the "Looking at Henan along the Expressway" activity was launched at the Liulin toll station in the Henan section of Lianhuo Expressway.
In 1991, construction of the Kaifeng-Zhengzhou section of Henan's first expressway was officially started.
At the end of 1994, the 81-kilometer Kaifeng-Zhengzhou Expressway was completed and opened to traffic, and Henan achieved a "zero" breakthrough in expressway construction.
As of the end of 2020, the total mileage of the crisscross Henan Expressway has reached 7,100 kilometers.
Overlooking the land of the Central Plains, the highways are like vigorous "lifelines" and "economic lines" that run through the arteries of the country and activate the Central Plains economy.
