An investigation was opened after the discovery of death threats against three Grenoble police officers in Echirolles (Isère), we learned Sunday from corroborating sources.

"An investigation is opened for threat of crime or misdemeanor against people or property against depositaries of public authority," said Eric Vaillant, prosecutor of the Republic of Grenoble.

Photos pasted on a city wall

Photos of these three police officers, in uniform, belonging to the Grenoble proximity security group were discovered on Saturday evening stuck on a wall in Echirolles, said the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Isère.

These photos, accompanied by the words "dead or alive", had been noticed by a nurse making her rounds who alerted the police around 6.30 pm.

The three officials "have been notified," said the police.

The investigation was entrusted to the police officers of the DDSP of Grenoble.
