Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 24th that it was confirmed that 104 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of people infected per day is the third highest in the past.
The prefecture also announced that two men and women in their 80s, who had been confirmed infected, had died.
In Nara prefecture, 5579 people were confirmed to be infected and 69 people died.
