Saitama Prefecture expanded the target area of "Priority Measures for Prevention of Spread" to 15 cities and towns near Tokyo in response to the declaration of emergency in Tokyo from the 25th, and refrained from providing alcohol to restaurants all day long. I decided to take strict measures such as requesting that I do.

Saitama Prefecture held a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters for the new coronavirus on the night of the 24th, and Kawagoe City and Tokorozawa City were added to the two cities so far regarding the target areas of "Priority Measures to Prevent Spread" in order to curb the flow of people from Tokyo. We decided to add 13 cities and towns, including 15 cities and towns in total.

Under the measures decided on the 24th, restaurants and bars will be requested to hold business hours until 8:00 pm in the 15 target cities and towns, refrain from serving alcoholic beverages all day, and business hours in other areas as well. We request that you refrain from drinking alone or serving alcoholic beverages to groups other than those living with your family all day long.

We also request large commercial facilities throughout the prefecture to tighten admission restrictions to prevent congestion in the store.

In addition to urging the citizens of the prefecture to refrain from going to and from Tokyo, where a state of emergency is declared, refrain from drinking on the streets and in parks, and so-called "home drinking" where people gather at private homes to eat and drink. We also call for refraining from living with family members.

The prefecture plans to take these measures from the 28th of this month to the 11th of next month.
