The short film “Genius Loci” by director Adrien Merigeau is nominated for the 2021 Oscars. A family project with a unique aesthetic, which follows the nocturnal wanderings of a woman in the poetry of urban chaos.

Adrien Merigeau

is the other French chance to win an Oscar, during the 93rd ceremony this Sunday evening (April 25, 2021) in Los Angeles.

“Genius Loci” was selected against four other works in the “animated short films” category.

A consecration already for its director who has already received a prize at the Berlinale 2020, and the special mention of the jury at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, last year (2020).
