Last December, parts such as wheels were pulled up off the coast of Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture.

According to the investigation by Kisarazu City, it was pointed out that it may be a part of the B29 bomber of the US military, so we are temporarily storing it in the city facility and soliciting information about the part.

Off the coast of Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture, in December last year, a metal object with three circular wheels at the tip of a pillar about 1 meter and 50 centimeters in length and what seems to be a rubber tire are the bottom trawling net of a fishing boat. It was pulled up.

When Kisarazu City asked an expert familiar with wartime aircraft to investigate, it was pointed out that it may be a part of the B29 bomber of the US military.

However, when I contacted the US military through the Ministry of Defense, I did not get a positive answer to the cooperation for identifying the parts.

For this reason, the city decided to keep it in the city's facilities for half a year as a "sunken item" stipulated by the Water Accident Relief Act, and began posting photos on its website.

After soliciting information about parts widely, we will consider the city's response such as whether to keep it in the future.
