Tokushima Prefecture has announced that 47 men and women under the age of 10 to 90s have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
This is the highest number of infected people confirmed per day.
This brings the number of confirmed infections to 1,115 in Tokushima Prefecture.
