It turned out that the new database of long-term care services introduced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare this month was flooded with applications for use from long-term care establishments, and temporary procedures were delayed.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided to extend the deadline for entering necessary data by three months from the originally planned 10th next month.

The new system "LIFE" introduced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare this month is expected to improve the quality and efficiency of the service by verifying the effect when the nursing care establishment inputs the data of the nursing care service provided.

A nursing care fee will be added to the establishments that have introduced it, and if you want to use it from this month, you were supposed to apply by the 25th of last month.

However, according to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, there was a flood of applications and a flat tire, and even on the 15th of this month, about 19,000 business establishments had not been issued the required IDs and passwords.

After that, even after the ID was issued, hundreds of consultations were received, such as "The system does not start and data cannot be entered."

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare had set the deadline for data entry until the 10th of next month when using it from this month, but decided to extend it to the 10th of August and notified the offices nationwide on the night of the 23rd.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has increased the number of people in charge of consultation counters so that we can respond to inquiries promptly, and in addition to telephone and e-mail, we are also accepting inquiries on our website.
