According to the WeChat official account of "Dali Politics and Law", the Office of the Leading Group for Education and Rectification of Political and Legal Teams in Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province issued a briefing on the "Binchuan Xieming Case" on the evening of the 23rd, Binchuan County, Dali Prefecture Wang Jianwei, director of the Binju Police Station of the Public Security Bureau, and Wang Zeyuan, a policeman from the Jinniu Police Station of the Binchuan County Public Security Bureau, were suspected of serious violations of discipline and law in the “Binchuan Xieming Case” and are currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation.
The Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Dali Prefecture initiated an investigation on suspected violations of discipline and law in the commutation of Xie Ming, a prisoner in the Binchuan Xie Ming case, in Dali Prison.

On April 15th, some media claimed that "a man in Binchuan County, Dali Prefecture, was murdered after he was released from prison", which aroused widespread public concern.
In response to the problems and clues of the criminal suspects reported by the masses, the provincial and prefectural political and legal team education and rectification leading groups attached great importance to them, and dispatched a special work team to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the case in time.
