'Chinatown' in Incheon and Busan is a place where many tourists visit.
It is said that there is strong opposition that Chinatown will be established in Chuncheon and Hongcheon, Gangwon-do.
In a recent Cheong Wa Dae public petition, a petition for'withdrawal of Chinatown in Gangwon-do' and a request for'impeachment of the governor of Gangwon-do' were issued.
There is even talk that the 5,000-year-old central prehistoric site will be removed to build a hotel for Chinese tourists, and more than 1.6 trillion won in blood tax will be invested.
There are many people who are angry about damaging historic sites, using blood and taking the lead in promoting Chinese culture.
As the backlash grew, Gangwon-do released explanatory data last week.
"The Chinatown construction business site is 30 kilometers away from the prehistoric site in the middle of the city, and above all, 100% private business invested, so there is no tax of just 1 won."
