Swiss justice announced that Mia's mother was extradited this Friday to France where she will soon be tried for the kidnapping of her daughter.
Little Mia, 8, was kidnapped last week at her mother's request by several men while she was staying with her maternal grandmother in a village in the Vosges.
She was found Sunday with her mother in Switzerland, in a squat in the commune of Sainte-Croix, in the canton of Vaud, while her mother was no longer allowed to see her alone or to speak to her on the phone.
Four kidnappers were taken into custody in France.
A sixth man is still wanted.
