"Come without a trace and go without a trace, like lightning like a light breeze..." This "Song of the Scouts" is a song sung by Ma Gan, the commander of the reconnaissance battalion of a synthetic brigade of the Tibet Military Region, and his comrades in the training ground. .

In November 2019, after Ma Gan joined the reconnaissance battalion, he led the officers and soldiers to temper their skills and was always ready to be a "pawn" on the battlefield.

He actively innovated training methods to solve the bottleneck restricting the improvement of combat effectiveness.

There are several snow-capped mountains around the camp, with high mountains and steep slopes and dense jungles.

He set his sights on the snow-capped mountains and tried to open up a new training ground.

In the face of the dangerous environment, he invited professional mountaineering coaches to teach the officers and soldiers, he continued to challenge the altitude, and constantly strengthened the bloody courage and fighting skills of the officers and soldiers.

In August last year, Ma Gan led the officers and soldiers to climb with a heavy load for 5 hours and climbed a snow-capped mountain with an altitude of more than 6000 meters.

After reaching the summit, they overcame the alpine reaction and quickly launched a battalion tactical exercise.

On the way down the mountain, training was interspersed with multiple subjects such as armed swimming, towing crossing, and night assault combat. The entire training lasted two days and two nights.

Since taking office, Ma Gan has closely followed the requirements of actual combat and improved the ability of officers and soldiers to win under extreme conditions.

Last year, he led a team to participate in the record-breaking event "Top of the Snow Region 2020" of the Tibet Military Region and won the first place in three items: the number of gold medals, the number of medals, and the overall performance.

In January this year, Ma Gan was commended by the Army as a model soldier in the new era of the "Four Haves" revolution.
