"Over the past day on April 22, 138 forest fires were liquidated in Russia on an area of 13,536 hectares," RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that the largest area of fires was recorded in the Tyumen region, where there were eight forest fires on an area of 22,127 hectares.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, named the regions with a high risk of wildfires.
