On April 21, due to the need to build the Lagu Cultural Museum in the Miao Village, the villagers in Yaogao Village, Gandong Township, Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi spent two days using pure manpower to relocate the wooden buildings to make room for the museum. position.
The villagers jointly decided to shift the stage built a few years ago to make full use of the empty space at the stage.
After the completion of the museum, it will be adjacent to the stage and jointly provide cultural and entertainment activities for the villagers.
There is a "Three Hundred Yaogao La Drum Festival" that has been circulated in the local area for more than 400 years. La Drum (Drum Tibetan) culture is the "living fossil" of the local Miao culture, and it is held every 13 years.
Because wooden buildings are also a reflection of local folk culture, local villagers removed the tiled wall panels of wooden buildings and moved them as a whole.
Due to the local location in the mountains and lack of machinery such as large cranes, the villagers decided to work together to relocate the wooden buildings.
