According to the Air Self-Defense Force, after 3:00 pm on the 22nd, two F2 fighters belonging to the Air Self-Defense Force Tsuiki Air Base in Chikujo Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, came into contact with each other when they were flying over the northern part of Yamaguchi Prefecture.



In this accident, a collision-prevention lamp weighing about 400 grams fell from the vertical stabilizer of one aircraft into the mountains, and the tip of the other aircraft was damaged, but both aircraft flew as they were. , Landed at Tsuiki Air Base by 4 pm.

So far, three people, including the pilot and crew, have not been injured, and no information such as injuries has been confirmed around the area where the parts fell.
