Finally, the State Duma adopted laws prohibiting dual citizenship and residence permits for civil servants.

In fact, this news sounds a bit wild: did we still live in the legal stone age and this level of legal chaos was the norm today.

What do these legislative innovations mean first of all?

Not only about resolving security issues related to the direct recruitment of our officials by agents of the adversary countries.

This is a question of nationalizing the elites.

A fundamental question, without the solution of which, in principle, it is difficult to talk about any significant changes in Russia.

Strengthening sovereignty is a whole range of measures. The beginning of this faithful movement was laid back in the summer of last year when the amendments to the Constitution were adopted. One of the main issues at that time was the approval of the primacy of Russian national legislation over international one.

But we understand: until the establishment and power in the broadest sense of the word - from municipal to federal officials - begin to think of themselves exclusively in the context of their own country, link their future exclusively with Russia, no radical positive changes can be expected. ... The presence of an alternate airfield in the form of citizenship, a residence permit, and just a house in another country - this is the very straw that has been laid on itself, which gives a cozy calmness to an official and deprives him of the incentive to lie down with bones, but make it so that it will finally become in Russia it is comfortable to study, be treated and work.

After all, in fact, until today our country was not native and to the end of its existence all those in power, whose children received education abroad, got married there, gave birth to children and stayed to live.

Those whose relatives were treated abroad and kept money for a rainy day.

After all, if an essential - if not the main - part of your life is connected with another country, then why should an official bother here?

Elementary Watson!

In addition, an administrative or government position with foreign citizenship is not an opportunity to work for the good of the country and people, it is just an additional administrative resource to strengthen one's own position and banal enrichment.

It turns out that the very state of affairs has so far been arranged so that in the sweet bliss of state support, an official can comfortably live his days, not worrying about either today or the future.

Officials were not afraid of any market fluctuations and general economic turbulence - a stable income was provided, and in the event of serious shocks, it was always possible to jump off the ship and leave.

Unless, of course, they are arrested earlier.

Whatever one may say, I remember Stalin, under whom there was nowhere to go from the ship.

Whether you want it or not, solve the task set before you and answer with your head.

And I must say, the method worked.

Rigid demand with broad authority and full responsibility bore fruit.

Today we are not talking about the need to revive the radical methods of the early 20th century.

No, we have more humane times.

But the situation in which the higher the position, the lower the responsibility, or the responsibility does not exist at all, must also come to an end.

Otherwise we won't cook porridge.

It is difficult to understand where, where and how we found the strength to go completely perpendicular to the ideological and political processes that are now taking place in the Western world.

But in the history of Russia, rather inexplicable paradoxes often occur.

Well, it seems that today we are once again witnessing one of them - the nationalization of the elites is ripe and overripe, it is simply impossible without it.

God forbid, we will succeed.

Enough of this imaginary friendship with "partners" who hate us, enough guile with ourselves.

It's time for Russia to straighten its shoulders and finally cleanse itself of the remnants of the 1990s!
