Fukushima Prefecture announced on the 21st that 27 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The newly confirmed infections were 12 in Iwaki, 7 in Koriyama, 3 in Nihonmatsu, 2 in Fukushima, and 1 in Shirakawa, Soma, and Nishigo.
The announcement of infection confirmation in the prefecture was made for 59 consecutive days, and the cumulative number of infected people reached 3061.
