As the medical pressure in Osaka Prefecture became more serious, the University of Miyazaki Hospital decided to send four nurses to a medical facility in Osaka.

Four female nurses in their thirties and forties who work in the ICU = intensive care unit and critical care center of the University of Miyazaki Hospital will be dispatched.

The four will be treated for patients with ventilators at the Osaka Corona Severe Center, a medical facility dedicated to critically ill patients, and the period is scheduled for four weeks from May 6th.

In Osaka, the number of nurses and other medical staff is insufficient for the rapidly increasing number of patients, and even if there is a bed, patients cannot be accepted.

According to the hospital, four people raised their hands when they asked for hope in response to a request from the government, and some of them had experience working in Osaka and said, "I want to go because my old colleague is in trouble." Some people volunteered.

In response to this situation, university hospitals around the world are preparing to send nurses to Osaka.

Miwa Fukumitsu, director of the Nursing Department at the University of Miyazaki Hospital, said, "I saw my colleagues in Osaka fighting in a difficult situation and decided to dispatch them to support them nationwide. I can't see the teacher's expression, but I want him to devise ways to direct his eyes and reach out to provide care that patients can feel at ease. "
