Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi, said the ancient Romans. Jokers from the first year of history faculty translated this ancient proverb as "What Yovi can do, that can not be a cow." It is not known whether California Congresswoman Maxine Waters is familiar with this catch phrase in any translation, but her recent demarche shows that she considers herself at least Jupiter.

Mrs. Waters, despite her venerable age (she is 82 years old), personally arrived in the state of Minnesota, where the trial of police officer Derek Chauvin, accused of the murder of George Floyd, is taking place. Chauvin's crime lies in the fact that when arresting Floyd (a two-meter bully-repeat offender, who was trying to pay off in a store with a fake twenty), he used the technique of holding an opponent superior in strength and mass - he put a knee on the detainee's neck. He kept Floyd like that for about nine minutes. Then Floyd passed out and died on the way to the hospital. The problem is that almost three months after Floyd's death, when America began to recover from the BLM riots, the medical examiner's report was published, according to which Floyd died of a drug overdose (he was a longtime drug addict). And if so,then Chauvin did not kill anyone and there is no fault on him.

But in the new reality in which the United States has been living since the beginning of the Great Racial War, it was impossible to simply take and drop charges against a white policeman who killed a black man (even a recidivist criminal). Therefore, Chauvin began to be tried, and the trial over him became one of the loudest media stories of recent months. Indeed, what else to discuss? Trump - no, he, through the efforts of the liberal censors, has been turned into an Orwellian "unperson" - vigilant Facebook even deletes photos with him, not to mention videos. Biden - it is possible, but boring (and the hottest stories, like the triple fall on the ladder, are also not allowed). The crisis on the border with Mexico is also impossible. But the trial of the policeman who killed (allegedly) "St. Floyd" with a bad name is possible.

The trial lasted three weeks. On Monday, the jury listened to the closing arguments of the defense and the prosecution and retired to discuss Chauvin's guilt or innocence. The jury is 14, five men and nine women. Eight of them are white, four are dark-skinned, and two more are of the "mixed race". We selected them carefully: you can bet that there is not a single Trumpist among them. The likelihood that they will find Chauvin guilty on at least one of the three charges is very high. If Chauvin is found guilty of second-degree murder, he faces up to 40 years in prison, for third-degree murder - up to 25 years, at best, if he is convicted of second-degree manslaughter - up to 10 years. Nevertheless, there remains a tiny possibility that the arguments of the defense are very, I must say, convincing - will affect the jury and they will find the policeman innocent.

However, the American left, progressives and "vokeists" (the now fashionable woke is formed from the word "wake up") cannot allow such an outcome. In their eyes, Chauvin is, of course, guilty - simply because he is white who killed the black one. And if suddenly he is acquitted, the sky will fall to the earth, and the earth will hit the celestial axis.

That is why, for several days, street riots have been raging on the streets of Minnesota cities, very similar to the BLM riots of the summer of 2020. The trigger was the death of another black criminal, Dount Wright, who resisted the arrest. Wright died in a stupid accident: a female police officer, in the heat of the struggle, confused the taser with a military weapon. But no one cares about this, as, incidentally, about the fact that twenty-year-old Wright has already been arrested by the police three times - on charges of hooliganism, robbery and drug dealing. Protests on the streets of Brooklyn Center, where Wright was shot, quickly spread to nearby Minneapolis. Thousands of African Americans and other people of color (however, white among them also come across) flooded the streets of the main city of the state and turned it into a furious boiling cauldron.

In addition to the protests themselves, the crowd is engaged in what they love - looting and robbing shops, as well as throwing stones at police cars.

The situation is aggravated by the fact that due to the left-liberal attitude of the Minneapolis authorities, the local law enforcement officers feel insecure and not ready for tough opposition.

In addition, neither the Democrat State Governor Tim Waltz, nor the Democrat Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey - the same one who, in the midst of last year's riots, ordered the police to leave the police station besieged by the raging crowd without a fight, and then wept at Floyd's golden coffin - nor the city police chief nor the county sheriff is willing to take charge (as The Washington Post delicately writes, they "seem to have different views on how best to respond" to the riots).

In order to somehow calm down the dispersed BLMs, the city authorities mobilized the National Guard, which is good luck!

- was stationed in Minneapolis in advance, in case Chauvin is still acquitted or given a lenient sentence.

There are already wounded among the guardsmen (“peaceful protesters” are practicing shots from around the corner), although, fortunately, no human casualties have yet come.

But the air in Minnesota cities smells of tear gas day and night, and the atmosphere is so heated that any spark can cause a blinding flash of fire.

And last Saturday, Congresswoman Maxine Waters flew into this seething cauldron.

She attended an anti-police brutality protest in Brooklyn Center (15 minutes by car to Minneapolis) and said protesters “need to stay on the street,” demanding justice until police reform becomes a reality.

“I will fight alongside all people who stand for justice,” Waters told reporters.

“We have to get justice in this country, and we cannot let these killings continue!”

Of course, Waters could not ignore the trial of Derek Chauvin.

If the former police officer is not found guilty of the murder of George Floyd, she said, the protests must continue and become more violent: “We must stay on the street, we must become more active, we must become more confrontational.

We need to make sure they know we are serious about the matter. "

Calling a spade a spade, Maxine Waters, a member of the US House of Representatives, called on already rioting BLM activists to riot.

When, on January 6, 2020, Donald Trump asked his supporters to “go out and support the brave senators” and demand that “Congress do the right thing and count only the votes of the legitimate voters,” all left-wing and liberal-controlled media outlets branded him as an instigator of insurrection.

It does not matter that Trump specifically emphasized that the march to the Capitol was organized in order to "peacefully and patriotically demand to hear your voices."

No one is interested in the fact that he did not call for an assault or other illegal actions.

It is enough that he is Donald Trump, the most hated man in the United States by liberals and leftists.

And even if he simply said to his supporters: "Look how wonderful the weather is today", his enemies would immediately declare that he is the new Franco, who signaled the anti-republican rebellion with the phrase "A cloudless sky over all Spain."

But what the “bull”, Donald Trump, cannot do, can “Jupiter,” the left-handed Maxine Waters.

One can call for disobedience to the police, street riots, pressure on the court, which, generally speaking, is unheard of for a country of lawyers, which is not without reason America is considered.

And yet Waters does just that.

“We are awaiting a guilty verdict,” she said to the flashes of cameras, standing in the middle of the heated crowd.

"If this does not happen, then we must not only stay on the streets, but also fight for justice."

In a city that is about to explode like a mine filled with methane, such words sound like an outright provocation.

To her credit, Waters is consistent at least.

29 years ago, in the spring of 1992, she openly supported the famous Los Angeles riot, the reason for which was the acquittal of four white cops who beat the black Rodney King.

Then, as a result of the riots that continued for a week, more than 60 people died, more than 2 thousand were injured, and about 12 thousand were detained.

Waters then actively "drowned" that the riot was a "rebellion" of desperate people and that "economic, social and cultural factors" were to blame.

Republicans have reacted sharply to Waters' words: House minority leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted that the words "we need to get more confrontational" incite violence.

He demanded that the speaker of the lower house of Congress, Nancy Pelosi, take action against the raging democrat.

Taylor Greene, another Liberal-hated Republican, ardent Trumpist and QAnon supporter, said Waters should be kicked out of Congress for such speeches.

Senator from Texas Ted Cruz harshly condemned the 82-year-old revolutionary.

And former congressional contender of the militant Maxine, dark-skinned US Navy veteran Joe Collins, said on Monday that Waters should be removed from office because she is "very dangerous" and her actions and rhetoric are "completely irresponsible."

But to the aged "revolutionary" everything is like water off a duck's back.

How could it be otherwise, if both houses of Congress are in the hands of the democrats, and the influence of the left, socialist wing is growing stronger in the party itself?

Nancy Pelosi has already told CNN that Waters should in no way apologize.

And when asked by a journalist whether she believed that Waters had incited violence, the speaker of the lower house confidently replied: "No, absolutely not!"

It should be remembered that Pelosi was recently re-elected to the post of speaker of the lower house only thanks to the votes of the left wing, including the notorious "Squad", which includes an ardent supporter of the "Green New Deal" Alexandria Ocasia-Cortez and anarchist and anti-Semitic Rashida Tlaib.

Debt payment is red - now Pelosi is obliged to defend Waters with foam at the mouth, no matter what she says.

Meanwhile, the political agenda will be more and more concentrated in the hands of left-wing radicals.

It is no coincidence that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich warned on Fox News of the growing danger from the left.

“Earlier we dealt with Rashida Tlaib, who called for the abolition of the police and the liquidation of prisons, which, of course, is complete madness.

And now we have Maxine Waters calling for riot.

The more tolerant we are, the more radical they - the left - become ... It is impossible to live in a country that shrinks from fear and in which radicals roam, openly encouraging violence, ”concluded Gingrich.

But this is precisely what Maxine Waters ultimately calls for.

And if a miracle happens and the jury acquits Chauvin, then everything can result in a new outburst of racial war, under the guise of which the liberals will try to get rid of the cornered republicans and finally turn America into a one-party left-wing dictatorship.

Something like the late Soviet Union, where instead of Marxism-Leninism students will be taught "vokeism" and the basics of the "culture of abolition."
