Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City have announced that 36 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time in three days since April 17 that the number of infected people has exceeded 30.
A total of 5,297 people have been confirmed to be infected in Gifu Prefecture.
In addition, Gifu Prefecture announced at a private laboratory that it was confirmed that two new people were infected with the mutated virus.
