Yamanashi Prefecture and Kofu City have announced that it has been confirmed that a total of 14 men and women under the age of 10 to those in their 100s who live in the prefecture have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Symptoms are either mild or asymptomatic.
This is the 10th consecutive day that confirmation of infection has been announced in Yamanashi Prefecture, bringing the total to 1050 people.

Yamanashi Prefecture announced that one man living in the prefecture, which had been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus, was confirmed to be infected with the newly mutated virus.
According to the prefecture, all male close contacts have been confirmed to be negative.
