Those who know are not as good as those who are good, and those who are good are not as good as those who enjoy. This is what Confucius said.

Good is good, happiness is beautiful.

Therefore, we must bring beauty to everyone, so that everyone has a sense of beauty and a good impression.

So I am here today to mainly hope that everyone appreciates the beauty.

At the same time, we must absorb the beauty of the world and Shakespeare into China.

Take out the beauty of China, Confucius and Laozi in China, and make the world more beautiful.

[Explanation] "The Complete Works of Xu Yuanchong's Chinese Translation Classics" is planned and produced by the Commercial Press.

According to Gu Qing, executive director of the Commercial Press, this set of translations is clean and neat, returning the dramas of Shakespeare and Wilde to the drama, recreating the original wonderful.

The first one is that the original foreign work must be a classic, and the second translation must also be a classic. Both classics are indispensable.

It is the unity of the double walls, and it can truly become a good thing that the business (the press) can recommend to our readers.

Because there are many translation works in the society at present, the original works may be classics, but the Chinese translation does not reach the level of classics.

Mr. Xu Yuanchong's translations of Shakespeare and Wilde, as well as many translations he has done in his life, have been recognized as true classics by history and by readers.

[Explanation] Gu Qing also deeply agrees with Xu Yuanchong's "beauty" concept.

He believes that today Chinese people are in an era of extremely broad reading horizons, and it is also the responsibility of the publishing industry to convey beauty to readers.

The largest language in the world is Chinese. Chinese conveys knowledge in expressing the world and has its own unique understanding. It embodies the wisdom of our nation.

Therefore, Chinese translation is to translate as many Western classics as possible in Chinese to our readers. This is the biggest cultural popularization and the biggest cultural charity. It is what we Chinese today, especially Chinese people in the future. It is also the responsibility of our publishing industry.
