From the night of the 13th to the early morning of the 14th, there were two fires that burned houses in Tokyo, killing two women.

Before 2:00 am on the 14th, a fire broke out in a house in Nakamuraminami, Nerima-ku, Tokyo, and the Tokyo Fire Department extinguished the fire, but the second floor, about 40 square meters, was burnt.



A woman was found lying down in a room on the second floor and was taken to the hospital, where she died.



According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, it was confirmed that the person who died was Miyuki Takizawa (59), who lives in this house.



Also, in Kokubunji City, a fire broke out on a two-story wooden house before 10 pm on the 13th, and the body of an 87-year-old woman who lived in this house was found in the burnt remains.



The Metropolitan Police Department is checking the identity and investigating the cause of the fire.
