Johnson & Johnson is delaying the use of its vaccine in Europe for a dangerous reason

The American company "Johnson & Johnson" decided to postpone the use of its anti-corona virus vaccine in Europe, after health authorities recommended investigating the emergence of serious cases of blood clots in several people in the United States after they were vaccinated with it.

Johnson & Johnson said in a press statement that it is aware of reports of blood clots possibly related to its vaccine and other vaccines, adding that it is working with European regulators to evaluate the data and provide the necessary information.

Earlier, the European Medicines Regulatory Authority announced that it is studying blood clotting infections after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, after four cases were recorded, including a death outside the European Union.

The newspaper "Le Figaro" indicated that the French authorities were relying on the "Johnson & Johnson" vaccine to compensate for the disruption of "AstraZenka" supplies, which the authorities announced at the beginning of the week.
