she sets up her own branding and marketing consultancy.

Yo Dona talks to them to find out more about their work and where the secret of their success lies.

The tailoring, one of the key pieces of the success of this fashion firm.

Has Caesar's 'come, vidi, vici' been your motto to debut on MBFWM?

The truth is that it was not our intention, what we were looking for was to make ourselves known, demonstrate the work behind it, and make a wink and a clear commitment to our workshop, which have suffered a lot, more this last year.

We participate in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid to support institutions and our industry.

We have to work to have a fashion week as powerful and international as possible.

Do you think these awards help?

Of course they do, they give you visibility and are a reward for your daily work.

In our sector you do not improvise, it takes a long time to make a garment and a long chain of professionals intervenes, who are behind each stitch.

This award is also a responsibility to continue growing in quality and enthusiasm and to be honored with ourselves, with our workshops and with the client, who is the most important.

Do you think this award is more important or dressing a famous woman?

Queen Letizia, for example?

They are two different concepts.

The award has made us very excited, because it is a culmination and excitement to continue and a responsibility to work harder.

And dressing a celebrity is a pride and more if it is such a personality.

Of course we would be very excited if Queen Letizia wore Otrura, she who teaches us to internalize Spanish fashion.

But we are clear that the important thing is to dress people who connect with us, whether they are famous or not.

Is Galicia the most fashionable community in Spain?

It is very important, it has always been a land with a long tradition of workshops and good clothing, also leather goods;

Together with Catalonia, it has been the two most important areas of the industrial fabric of our sector in Spain.

We must promote the Spain brand with our arts and crafts, and adapt them to the 21st century.

Galicia has a lot of that.

Why are you called Otrura and what is the philosophy of work?

The name comes from the two concepts that we defend in our collections.

We rely on the inheritance transmitted by our elders, without melancholy, adapted to the 21st century.

Our brand is the union of the word 'once', from another time, and 'sewing'.

This is how we condense our work philosophy.
