Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old young man, was killed by a policeman at a red light in the suburbs of Minneapolis.

The victim managed to escape after being arrested and, according to officials at Brooklyn Center, the officer was mistaken between his Taser and his service weapon.

A situation which provoked numerous demonstrations and the establishment of a curfew.

While the trial of Derek Chauvin, the officer who rested his knee for 8 minutes and 46 seconds on George Floyd's neck, is currently being held, several stars have expressed their outrage.

Actress Kerry Washington sent her condolences to Daunte Wright's family on Twitter, adding that he "should have been alive" and lamenting that this kind of "tragedy" continues.

“Breonna Taylor was 'accidentally' killed by police at her Louisville home.

Botham Jean was "accidentally" shot dead in Dallas by a police officer coming to his home.

Now Daunte Wright has been "accidentally" shot instead of being tasered.

Too many "accidents" happen, "denounced George Takei.

"Justice for Daunte Wright"

Ariana Grande shared in her Instagram Story the list of associations providing legal and financial assistance to those arrested during the protests.

Mandy Moore did the same.

“Justice for #dauntewright.

20-year-old father who was asked to pull over to the side of the road because he had car air freshener hanging from his rearview mirror (it's illegal in Minnesota) and killed a few yards away where George Floyd was assassinated.

It is to vomit.

Macklemore also lamented that nothing changes.

“I have tears in my eyes as I think about his life, the lives of his sons, his parents, his girlfriend.

The waves of these senseless killings by the police, AGAIN on an unarmed black man.

It's horrible.

The word tragedy is not even strong enough.

And this is a common practice for all police departments across the country.

No longer funding, properly training and educating about systemic racism are necessary to start.

RIP Daunte.

Love and prayers to his family and friends.

It should never have happened, but it will continue if we don't reform, change nothing and hold accountable those in positions of power, ”the
