Former prosecutor Hiromu Kurokawa of the Tokyo High Public Prosecutors Office, who received a brief order for gambling for betting mahjong with newspaper reporters in the state of emergency last year, paid a fine of 200,000 yen by the 13th. I found out by interviewing the people concerned.

This completes the series of criminal procedures.

Former prosecutor Hiromu Kurokawa (64) of the Tokyo High Public Prosecutor's Office said that he was betting mahjong with two Sankei Shimbun reporters and one Asahi Shimbun reporter in the state of emergency last year. Criminal accusations were filed on suspicion, and the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office suspended the prosecution of the former prosecutor in July last year.

However, the 6th Tokyo Prosecutor's Office pointed out in December last year that "the fact that the former prosecutor, who was in a position to deter illegal acts, was gambling mahjong indiscriminately and continuously had a great impact on society." As a result of the re-investigation, the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office turned around last month and briefly charged the former prosecutor with gambling charges and demanded that the Tokyo Simple Court order a fine of 100,000 yen. It was.

In response, the summary court issued a summary order with a fine of 200,000 yen, which exceeded the prosecution's request, but according to the people concerned, the former prosecutor paid the fine by the 13th.

The prosecution was postponed along with the former prosecutor, and the three newspaper reporters who had voted that the prosecution's examination committee had decided that "non-prosecution was unreasonable" had already been non-prosecuted as a result of the re-investigation, and a fine was paid. The series of criminal procedures has been completed.
