In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, a restaurant in Kyoto City has released music made by combining the sounds of cooking, etc., so that people can enjoy the "silent meal" time when they eat silently.

At a Chinese restaurant in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, the music was made by combining the cooking sounds of ingredients.

By listening to the sound of cooking, music officials and others made it so that they could enjoy the "silent meal", which means eating silently while keeping in mind the scene until the served meal is completed.

The three-minute music includes the sounds of Chinese food such as stir-fried vegetables and fried shrimp, as well as sounds that express Kyoto, such as the sounds of the Kamo River flowing through the city of Kyoto and the bells of shrines.

Mr. Tomohiro Kaji, who planned the event, said, "I want people to hear the sound while eating, and when they finish eating, I want them to be aware that they will wear a mask and have a conversation. I want you to enjoy cooking while enjoying the realism of being there. "

Music will be played at this restaurant from the 15th according to the meal course.
