The coach of Togo Claude Le Roy announced on Canal + Monday, April 12 in the evening that he was leaving his post.

Claude Le Roy announced the end of his collaboration with Togo.
The Sparrowhawks did not qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in January 2022 in Cameroon and the record of the qualifying campaign with four defeats and two draws prompted the former Congo coach to return his apron.

Togo had not already participated in the CAN in Egypt in 2019. Arrived 5 years ago, Claude Le Roy had qualified Togo for the CAN 2017 in Gabon where the hawks had not passed the first round with two defeats and a draw.
At 73, Claude Le Roy made this decision with the Minister of Sports.
