The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided to allow dispatched labor such as nurses only at the vaccination site in order to secure the medical staff required for vaccination with the new corona virus.

While vaccination of the elderly began on the 12th, more than 20% of local governments responded to a questionnaire by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare that "there is a shortage of necessary nurses at the mass vaccination venue" and are engaged in medical care in various places. Securing people is an issue.

On the other hand, dispatched labor such as nurses is prohibited by law except in depopulated areas, and the National Governors' Association and others have requested that they be allowed in areas other than depopulated areas in order to promote vaccination.

In response to this, on the 13th, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will hold a subcommittee made up of representatives of labor and management, and will allow nurses and associate nurses to be dispatched to the vaccination site for about one year until the end of February next year as a special case. Was shown.

The committee members gave a cautious opinion that "it should be hired directly and expansion of easy dispatch is not allowed", but an opinion that "it is an appropriate measure to proceed with inoculation systematically". Was conspicuous, and the proposal was generally accepted.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has a policy of amending the ministerial ordinance soon and notifying the whole country, and will request the local government to provide prior training to nurses dispatched to the vaccination site.
