After the announcement of the recruitment of South African adventurer Mike Horn on Monday, RMC Découverte announced the arrival on its antenna of another star of adventure television.

The channel welcomes another explorer, well known to viewers of Canal + and France 5, who is used to inviting himself to come and sleep at your place.

The TNT channel RMC Découverte announced Monday the recruitment of the South African adventurer Mike Horn, for a new unprecedented program on his expeditions around the world.

Explorer Antoine de Maximy follows suit, since the channel announces that he is also joining its antenna.

The Frenchman is notably famous for his program 

J'irais rire chez vous

, first broadcast on Canal + in 2005, then on France 5 from 2006.

New episodes of his cult show

In this show, Antoine de Maximy goes on an adventure alone, backpack on his back and loaded with on-board cameras.

Its goal is to explore a distant land without money, trying to find accommodation as much as possible with the inhabitants of the towns and villages it passes through.

Hence its name.

The channel will initially offer old numbers which will be broadcast on Saturday evenings.

RMC Découverte will then broadcast new numbers of the program.

They will be a little longer than those already broadcast: one hour instead of 52 minutes.
