Subsequently, the Dazhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government attached great importance to it and immediately initiated an emergency response.
The emergency management and ecological environment departments at the municipal and district levels rushed to the scene to carry out joint investigations.
After a large-scale investigation of Wujiagou Water Plant, the inpatient department of the Central Hospital, and monitoring of Binhe East Road, Xianhe Road, Central Square and other places, no TVOC (total volatile organic compounds), two 12 kinds of toxic and harmful pollutants such as nitrogen oxide, hydrogen sulfide, hydrocyanic acid, carbon monoxide, nitrogen monoxide, formaldehyde, ozone, chlorine, ammonia, hydrogen chloride, and sulfur dioxide.
The investigation revealed that this morning, a certain unit conducted tear gas throwing training in Sanliping area (upwind entrance), combined with the air diffusion meteorological data provided by the meteorological department, in order to ensure the safety of citizens’ living environment, emergency management, ecological environment and other departments will conduct further investigations.
