It was confirmed that 21 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in Nagano prefecture, and the total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture was 3221.
Nagano City also announced that a man in his 80s who had been infected with the new coronavirus died on the 9th of this month.
The death toll from the new corona in the prefecture is now 44.
