In a letter addressed to the mayors of France, Friday, April 9, the government asked them about the holding of regional elections.

“ 

I would be grateful if you could tell me, yes or no, whether the conditions recommended by the scientific committee seem to be met to hold the two ballots scheduled for next June.

 A question to which the city councilors had to answer this Monday before noon.

Problem: Most mayors find the recommendations unworkable at the moment.
