Moscow does not exclude that Kiev may try to solve internal problems by force, in this case the situation will pose a danger to Russia, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

Of course, the likely aggravation of the situation near the borders of Russia cannot but cause concern.

Moreover, unlike Ukraine, we all well remember the summer of 2014, when not only an avalanche of refugees poured into the Russian Federation, but also Ukrainian shells.

Let me remind you that in July 2014 in the Rostov region, as a result of shelling from the Ukrainian side, a citizen of the Russian Federation was killed, another Russian woman was seriously injured.

Then, according to the Russian border service, seven Ukrainian shells flew into the territory of the Russian Federation.

Taking into account the fact that the rhetoric and behavior of Ukraine are increasingly declaring their intentions to resume hostilities and, in violation of the Minsk agreements, again try to force Donbass to "peace" by military means, the Russian side is doing everything to maximize the security of its citizens and its border.

Actually, the transfer of Russian troops, which, with bated breath, is now literally watched by the whole world, carries in itself, first of all, a preventive mission.

The main goal of which is to cool the hot heads in the Ukrainian General Staff from rash actions, the consequences of which could be catastrophic for Ukraine itself.

What is noteworthy, literally immediately after Peskov's statement, the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Zelensky said that Kiev is seeking to resolve the contradictions "by all possible diplomatic means."

According to her, Ukraine cannot fight its people.

However, we all know very well that the words sounding from Kiev rarely coincide with the real actions of the Ukrainian authorities.

Over the seven years of the war that Ukraine is waging against the residents of Donbass, we have clearly seen that all the peace-loving and peacekeeping rhetoric of the Ukrainian authorities has nothing to do with reality.

Daily reports from the front line, reports of casualties and destructions, video footage of the consequences of shelling are clear confirmation of this.

As for the negotiation process, this is also a dead end for a long time.

And it was Ukraine that drove him there, stubbornly refusing to fulfill its obligations and regularly violating the fragile truce.

Such behavior, of course, also does not add credibility to the Ukrainian authorities, who are now declaring, with a blue eye, that all reports about the allegedly impending Ukraine's offensive in Donbass are fake and disinformation, but in fact, numerous photo and video facts demonstrate active preparation. to a large-scale offensive.

Actually, it is precisely these actions that cause concern in Russia.

I don’t know if the voice of reason will prevail over Ukraine’s frantic desire, if not to try to return Donbass at any cost, then at least to distract its own population from the mass of internal problems, by switching its attention to the expectation of another aggravation at the front.

However, the fact that Russia is acting to forestall such rash and risky steps can largely contribute to the sobering up of Kiev, which, by all indications, is now in a state of a kind of euphoria from the series “the whole world is with us” and “abroad will help us”.

I would like to believe that the President of Ukraine is listening carefully and analyzing everything that is being said in Moscow now.

And he makes the right conclusions from what he heard.

Otherwise, Mr. Zelenskiy could face serious problems.

From the same series that his predecessor once had, who also thought that with the help of a forceful scenario he would quickly return the Donbass that had not yet conquered, but in the end he got a history of several boilers and thousands of graves of Ukrainian soldiers who were thoughtlessly sent to the front, but who were never able to bring Poroshenko the coveted "victory".
