On April 11, a traffic signal light with camel elements made its debut at the Moon Spring Scenic Spot in Mingsha Mountain, Dunhuang, Gansu. This is also the world’s first known signal light exclusively for camels.
"Red camels stop, green camels go", this creative signal light setting not only improves the play order with ease and pleasure, but also creates "new travel discoveries" for tourists to see how the camels obey the order.
According to the official introduction of Dunhuang City, because the walking route of the camels in the scenic spot intersects with the pedestrian walkway and the vehicle driving lane, it is inevitable that the flow of people, vehicles and camels is not smooth, causing road congestion and blocking the flow of people.
This scenic spot has been investigated and creatively designed this kind of signal indicator for people, cars, and camels to diverge.
At the crossroads, camels stopped and walked in order at the signal lights, and vehicles were courteous to camels and pedestrians. When visitors waited for the red light, they could stop and watch the walking camels.
