The breakdown is 80 for Saitama Prefecture, 40 for Saitama City, 11 for Kawaguchi City, 6 for Kawagoe City, and 5 for Koshigaya City.
With this, a total of 34,190 people have been announced as infected in the prefecture.
Koshigaya City also announced that one patient infected with the new coronavirus has died.
As a result, 715 people have been confirmed infected and died in the prefecture.
