SYSPEO / SIPA

The Covid-19 self-tests will be available in pharmacies from this Monday.

These self-sampling nasal tests are easier and less disagreeable than deep nasopharyngeal (PCR) tests and deliver a result in 15 minutes.

They will be useful to do before going to the office or to a family lunch, in order to limit the risk of contagion.

And the government wants them to be used massively in schools when they are reopened.

Any positive self-test must then be confirmed by a PCR test.

Their price will be capped at 6 euros, then at 5.20 euros from May 15.

Reimbursement should be limited to certain audiences (home helpers, caregivers of the elderly or disabled, etc.), indicates the Ministry of Health on its site.

Do you plan to buy a self-test at a pharmacy in the coming weeks?

Why ?

If you do not want it, explain to us for what reasons?

In the event of a positive self-test, will you do a PCR test afterwards?

If you are a parent, will you allow its use by your children when the establishments reopen?
