  The container ship "Hailan Zhonggu XX" was not significantly damaged.

At present, the maritime department has implemented temporary traffic control on the waters where the incident occurred.

  It is understood that after receiving the report, the search and rescue center immediately activated the emergency plan, verified the location of the ship in distress, and launched a joint rescue deployment, and dispatched "海 Xun 09115", "海 Xun 09118", "Hai Xun 09111", "Hai Xun 09117", etc. immediately. Four maritime vessels went to the scene for disposal, and quickly coordinated with the surrounding passing ships to participate in the search and rescue of overboard personnel.

The Guangzhou Vessel Traffic Control Center has implemented temporary traffic control in the waters where the incident occurred, and broadcast navigation warnings through smart maritime systems, VHF high-frequency and other means, and reminded the safety of ships in the surrounding waters, and required ships to strengthen their lookouts to prevent secondary accidents.

  After nearly 20 minutes of emergency rescue by the ship at the scene, all 13 persons who fell into the water were rescued and were in good physical condition with no casualties.

At present, the maritime department has coordinated professional anti-pollution forces to be on-site, and on-site emergency handling and accident investigations are in progress.
