At 11:56 on April 11, a fire broke out in a private house in Beique Road, Liubei District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi. Black smoke continued to emerge from the bedroom on the second floor, and an elderly man with limited mobility was trapped in it.
Liubei Fire Station dispatched 4 fire trucks and 20 firefighters to the scene for rescue.
In the end, the firefighters found the trapped old man under the bed in the room where the fire broke out, and he was rescued and handed over to the medical staff.
According to the family members who cared for the elderly, it was possible that the elderly accidentally used electricity while drying the bedding and caused the fire. The cause of the fire is still under further investigation.
