In the video, you know "Alpha Dog", a fast dog that does not bark or bite!

"Alpha Dog" is the name of a dog that obeys, does not bark, does not bite, and leaves fewer marks on the home carpet, and therefore it is an improved dog because it is a robot, whose Chinese inventor confirms that it is the fastest in the world.

This high-tech dog is equipped with sensors, and works by artificial intelligence techniques that allow him to "hear" his environment and "see" it.

But it can also be taken for a walk.

Although it has neither a tail nor a head, "it is like a real dog", as Ma Ji, the technology director of "Whelan" company that designed its prototype and is based in Nanjing (eastern China), described it.

Alpha Dog has the world record in speed among mineral animals, with a top speed of 15 kilometers per hour, as well as being more stable than a real dog, according to what its designers emphasized, proving that with a strong kick.

Unlike the remote-controlled robot dog, the four-legged robot moves freely in its environment using fifth-generation Internet technologies via mobile devices, with an ultra-fast response time.

As the "Alpha Dog" climbed a stairway slowly but surely, Ma Ji explained that the robot dog "monitors friction and ground level in order to adjust its height and pace of steps."

- A guide for the blind or a factory worker - Ma J pursued his studies at the University of Oxford and majored in the field of reinforcement learning, which is an artificial intelligence technique for "training" robots based on reward or punishment.

He used this technology to program the robot, based on the behavior of normal dogs.

The "Alpha Dog" program reconciles two widely popular acquisitions in China today: technological innovations and pets.

Pets disappeared from circulation in the early decades of the Communist regime, but the desire to acquire them regained momentum in the last twenty years.

In light of this, more than 1,800 alpha-dog dogs were sold in the first month to put these robots on the market, at a price of 16,000 yuan ($ 2,380) each.

"The requests are mostly coming from computer developers, who are obsessed with technology, but also from children who seem to love these dogs," said Ma Ji.

Beijing is investing heavily in new technologies, especially artificial intelligence, but robots are already present in the labor market, and they handle, for example, deliver packages, or work as waiters in restaurants, or they can even be responsible for Covid-19 tests.

The creators of AlphaDog intend to put these robots at the service of the blind.

Ma Ji said that the robot dog "will be able to communicate with people with disabilities when he also has the function of dialogue, and will therefore accompany them to the supermarket or the bus station."

Alpha Dog, in its larger corporate version, can inspect industrial machinery or pipes.

And these dogs in the next generation of them can have a "personality" that the customer chooses according to his liking, so he will have among them, for example, a tender dog, another calm, and a third who has some ferocity.
