Video .. A dog escapes death after swallowing a "kebab" skewer in Northampton

A medical team at Abington Park Veterinary Surgery Hospital in Northampton saved a dog from death after a skewer swallowed a four-inch long kebab, according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail".

The newspaper added that the 10-month-old dog had pulled a kebab skewer during a barbecue at the house where the dog's owner resided, as the skewer remained inside the dog for two months.

The owner of the dog explained that the animal began to limp after weeks of the incident, then it gradually got worse, to the point where he could not walk on his back leg, adding that the radiologist discovered the presence of the sikh near the large abdominal vessels and the femoral artery.

The newspaper said that the Sikh did not damage the main organs inside the dog's body, especially since the doctors at the veterinary hospital were able to see the foreign body despite the leg swelling greatly, and there was no wound or entry point, so it was difficult to imagine how something like this would enter.
