At zero o'clock on April 8th of the same year, Wuhan, which had been locked down for 76 days, awakened as the spring blossoms.

One year has passed, spring has arrived, and flowers are blooming again. With strong resilience and vigorous vitality, Wuhan has been hailed as a weather vane for post-epidemic recovery and has become a new window for the world to observe China.

  [Explanation] Sakura, Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge, Guqin Terrace... Daming, a Beninese university student studying in Wuhan, used his mobile phone to record Wuhan's vibrant spring day and shared it with friends and family abroad.

The experience during the fight against the epidemic has allowed him to go from a “witness” to a “resistor” of the epidemic, from a “listener” to a “narrator” of Chinese stories.

  Looking at Wuhan, can you know that China is actually developing really fast. For the first time, there are many people, no matter where they are, I have many friends abroad, you say you are in China, you say Wuhan.

The whole country or the whole world will be more interested in Wuhan.

The development of Wuhan will be even faster. Wuhan will be the most beautiful city in the world in fifteen years. I think this is still okay.

  [Explanation] During the epidemic, Daming stayed in Wuhan and established a 23-member "Iron Man" volunteer service team with international students from 13 countries including Nigeria and Tanzania. Together with the school teachers, more than 400 volunteers served International students at the school deliver living supplies.

  The people of Wuhan are very united and are willing to wear masks at home without going out.

  [Explanation] He Nuo, an international student from Eritrea, studied for a PhD in finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He experienced Wuhan's anti-epidemic experience and was deeply touched. He and his friends set up a diary writing group to record the "Wuhan Story".

He said that Wuhan has witnessed an important stage in the school career. After the economic and social restart, Wuhan is recovering quickly, and he wants to take root in Wuhan.

  I have known Wuhan since 2011, and since then, it has been like my second hometown.

After the epidemic, this is a very difficult period, but it does not mean that it is impossible.

I have not felt the difference in Wuhan before and after the epidemic. They are still very friendly. Many of my friends in Wuhan are locals. Of course, they come from all walks of life.

This is my view of Wuhan after the epidemic. Wuhan has become stronger after the epidemic.

Walking on the streets of Wuhan, young faces can be seen everywhere, which is enough to illustrate the development potential of a city.

  [Explanation] At the beginning of this year, 55-year-old South Korean owner Cui Zhen came to Wuhan with the dream of building an authentic Korean restaurant chain.

Prior to this, he made many field trips.

The epidemic disappeared and Wuhan returned to its prosperous city. Cui Zhen was amazed by the rapid recovery of the city and confirmed his determination to realize the dream of chain restaurants in Wuhan.

  My feeling about Wuhan is that it is different from what I saw on TV (South Korea) before I came to Wuhan. The Wuhan I learned in Korea is different from the Wuhan I actually saw when I came to Wuhan. Wuhan is a very A vibrant city full of opportunities.

  [Explanation] In Hanzheng Street, the largest clothing distribution center in Central China, Jiang Yanyuan from South Korea started a new dream of clothing design.

In 2019, Jiang Yanyuan participated in the costume design competition and got the opportunity to come to Wuhan.

Together with her daughter Han Ruilin, she runs a clothing store in the "Yunshang Wuhan International Fashion Center" on Hanzheng Street.
