Covid-19 This is how vaccination advances in each community
EMA Possible mechanisms that explain the relationship between AstraZeneca vaccine and thrombi
Covid-19 The European Medicines Agency investigates four cases of thrombi from the Janssen vaccine
The
coronavirus
has entered the 4-M pre-campaign after the reproaches between the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and that of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, for the figures and the management of the pandemic.
20% of those called to be vaccinated, fearful of the changes in the vaccination campaign and the doubts raised by the AstraZeneca campaign, have given up the Anglo-Swedish drug.
The data for the last 24 hours are: 10,875 new Covid-19 infections, 49 deaths and the cumulative incidence of 182.09 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 20% compared to a week ago.

07.47 Madrid today calls 26,000 citizens to get vaccinated against the coronavirus
Ten public hospitals are joining the network of centers of the Community of Madrid that administer vaccines against the
coronavirus
to collaborate in the inoculation process to the general population.
The 12 de Octubre, Gregorio Marañón, La Paz and Fundación Jiménez Díaz hospitals will begin to administer the Pfizer vaccine to people from 70 to 74 years old;
While the hospitals of Móstoles, Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, Severo Ochoa, Getafe and Puerta de Hierro will do so to the population between 60 and 65 years old, in this case with AstraZeneca, whose doses have been restricted to those over 60 years of age.
These centers will administer a total of 12,000 vaccines over the weekend, in addition to the 10,000 daily of the Nurse Isabel Zendal hospital and the 4,000 daily of the Wizink Center, which debuted yesterday in the vaccination strategy.
07.30 CE will negotiate with Pfizer the purchase of 1.8 billion doses for 2022 and 2023
The European Commission (EC) will negotiate with the pharmaceutical company Pfizer-BioNTech the purchase of 1.8 million doses of the
second-generation
coronavirus
vaccine -
capable of fighting virus variants - for 2022 and 2023, European sources told Efe .
"We have to prepare for the next stages of the pandemic in 2022 and 2023. Production capacity is still limited and we have to anticipate," said the sources.
07.15 AstraZeneca thrombi, smaller than those found in the general population
Until March 21, 2021, 6,125,119 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have been administered in Spain, corresponding to 4,136,963 people, since 48% received the full regimen with two doses.
79% of the administered doses corresponded to Comirnaty (Pfizer / BioNtech), 16% to Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and 5% to Covid-19 Vaccine Moderna (Moderna), according to the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (Aemps) .
Overall, the number of thrombosis cases reported after vaccination with AstraZeneca, relative to the number of people vaccinated, is
less than the number of these events that occur in the general population, therefore the administration of this vaccine is not considered to be associated with an increased risk of thrombotic events.
Latest Aemps report: cases of thrombosis after AstraZeneca, less than in the general population
07.00 The cumulative incidence of the coronavirus grows by 20% in a week
The accumulated incidence began to grow in our country on March 15, when it was at 127.8 cases of
coronavirus
per 100,000 inhabitants, in the days prior to the San José bridge, and has only experienced a slight recess last Saturday April 3.
This Friday it is at the
levels of the end of February
, in 182 cases.
In addition, the 7-day incidence also rises from 79.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to 90.7.
