"Selfie" from the surface of Mars

The US space agency "NASA" has published a "selfie" that its probe "Perseverance" took via the miniature "Inguinity" helicopter on Mars.

The NASA vehicle used its robotic arm to capture the image, which was actually collected together from 62 individual snapshots, and in the foreground, Anguinity could be seen from about four meters away.

The helicopter, which weighs about 1.8 kg, is scheduled to make its first flight on the Red Planet in the coming days.

It is expected to reach a height of about three meters on its first test flight, and then hover in place for 30 seconds before returning to land on Mars.

It will be the first flight of a plane on another planet.

It is expected that the "Anguinti" equipped with lithium batteries will take several other test trips for about a month.
