Facebook and Twitter strike back

It is not known why Twitter ultimately did not acquire Clubhouse, nor which of the two social networks ended the discussions.

Clubhouse, valued on January 21, 2021 at one billion dollars, has in any case well retained the amount of Twitter's offer.

The very young social network, launched in April 2021, is currently organizing a fundraiser and hopes to reach $ 4 billion.

Faced with the growing success of Twitter, Facebook is currently testing a new application, Hotline, which is supposed to compete with Clubhouse.

For its part, Twitter is working on a feature that would be in all points similar to the application that it could not acquire.
