In 1956, Sven Svärd, Ingvar Karlsson and Sven-Erik Magnusson formed the band Sven-Ingvars.

The anniversary tour begins in Halmstad on 5 November.

The tour has been named "Sven-Ingvars - A little piece of Värmland"

- It is incredibly special to get out and meet your audience again after a long year of hiatus.

You really feel within yourself that oh my God what you long for, says Oscar Magnusson, singer in Sven-Ingvars and son of the former singer Sven-Erik Magnusson.

He continues:

- We will not only go out with the hits but also tell the story of a band and a phenomenon that honks and goes 65 years later.

"A live band in its purest form"

Sven-Ingvars was originally a pop and rock band but has since the beginning changed members, style and influences and they hope to be able to bring as much as possible of their long career on the tour.

- Sven-Ingvars is a live band in its purest form, this is where Sven-Ingvars will work.

This is where we have our sound no matter what we play.

But we will try to touch on most of the career.

Songs, melancholy, joy, says Oscar Magnusson.
