Laurie Delhostal announced her departure from the encrypted channel, where she had been working since 2011, with a very old-fashioned “Canal spirit” message that Laurie Delhostal announced on Friday.

Laurie Delhostal was one of the 150 signatories of a petition from the Society of Journalists (Sdj) of Canal + in early December, in solidarity with Sébastien Thoen, ousted from Canal + following a parody of the program "L'Heure des Pros On Cnews.

An approach badly taken by the chain, which had also dismissed the journalist Stéphane Guy after a message of support for Sébastien Thoen pronounced on the air, then three freelancers who signed the petition.

Co-founder of a collective

Launched in August 2020, the last show hosted by Laurie Delhostal,

Dimanche Soir Sports

, was deleted in February, after the Mediapro fiasco and the return of the entire Ligue 1 on Canal +.

She also founded with five colleagues the collective “Women sports journalists”, at the origin of the column published on March 21 in

Le Monde

to ask that women “be better represented in the sports media”.

A stand parallel to the broadcast on Canal +, of the documentary "I am not a slut, I am a journalist", by Marie Portolano, another former figure of the channel which joined M6 in early March.
