Cold facts have existed for thirty years and have been awarded both the Grand Journalist Prize and the Kristallen TV Prize.

There has been information that Kalla fakta would be discontinued due to the program not being sufficiently profitable, something that Viveka Hansson denies.
- I never think that TV4 will put down Cold Facts.
The program is profitable in a way that can not be counted in kronor and ören.
It fulfills an important social mission and also separates us from other commercial TV channels, says Viveka Hansson.
The Cold Facts editorial staff will continue to have the same budget as before.
How many programs will be broadcast under the program title Cold Facts is not yet clear, but there will be clearly fewer, according to Viveka Hansson.
